About Us

November 2016

Dear Friends,

Big news for the Pewter Plough Players! Beginning in January 2017, we are moving to Morro Bay and changing our name to By the Sea Productions! While we are sorry to lose our “home” and long-time association with the Playhouse, we are excited about our new venue at the Erickson Parrish Hall at St. Peter’s By the Sea Episcopal Church. This will be a wonderful opportunity to present live theatre to Morro Bay’s residents and tourists.

However, this move will incur costs, not just for the moving itself, but also for permanent, accessible storage space for our costumes, props and set furniture. Therefore, your support is more important now than ever.

Here’s where it gets a little tricky. By the Sea Productions is the name we will use for all our promotion and performances, but your tax deductible donations need to be payable to Pewter Plough Players, Inc., which remains the legal name of our 501c3 non-profit organization. We appreciate your donations and will keep you apprised of our 2017 season by mail and/or e-mail based on the contact information requested below.

We are grateful for your attendance and support over the years and, with your continued help, we look forward to presenting many more quality shows for your enjoyment…by the sea!
